ENTREPRENEURSHIP MINOR (18 CREDITS)

The Minor in Entrepreneurship helps students gain the knowledge, skills and judgement they need in order to start, acquire or grow a small business venture.  This venture could be a for-profit, non-profit or non-governmental organization (NGO).  The faculty and staff at the Willes Center for International Entrepreneurship teach that the future of business is Global, Digital and Social.  Many of the courses taught as part of the ENTR Minor help students learn how to start and run their own online business.  Introductory courses include ENTR 180 The Cycle of Cash and ENTR 285 Intro to Digital Marketing.  Courses build on one another and more advanced courses include ENTR 483 Entrepreneurial Management and ENTR 499 Cash & Valuation.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP CERTIFICATE (13 CREDITS)

The Certificate in Entrepreneurship is awarded to those students who have taken the core entrepreneurship courses and participated in at least two conferences; Great Ideas and Empower Your Dreams.  These conferences include workshops which help students learn how to develop a business plan, pitch an idea and raise financing to start the new venture.  The faculty and staff at the Willes Center for International Entrepreneurship teach that the future of business is Global, Digital and Social.  Introductory courses include ENTR 180 The Cycle of Cash and ENTR 285 Intro to Digital Marketing.

Digital Business Certificate (15 credits)

The Certificate in Digital Business is a combination of courses from the Computer & Info Sciences department and the Willes Center for International Entrepreneurship.  Traditional business courses do not teach many of the business tools required to start an online business or digital marketing agency.  This program focuses on the skills, knowledge and digital tools required to start and grow an online business.  Some of the entrepreneurship classes include ENTR 180 The Cycle of Cash, ENTR 285 Intro to Digital Marketing and ENTR 485 Advanced Digital Marketing.
