Edinburgh Cultural Entrepreneurship Immersion Experience
BYU–Hawaii’s 2026 Edinburgh Cultural Entrepreneurship Immersion Experience is a rare chance to join a faculty-led production team and represent BYUH at the world’s largest performing arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, in Scotland. Travel costs are covered by BYU–Hawaii so performers can focus on the work, growth, and experience. The trip will take place August 7–18, 2026.
Behind the Scenes
The selected BYUH student performers are currently:
- Rehearsing an original, faith-based show for a world-class international festival setting
- Gaining behind-the-scenes experience in cultural entrepreneurship—learning how live performance is marketed, budgeted, ticketed, and managed under real-world pressure
- Building skills that connect directly to BYUH’s mission: learning to live and lead in Oceania and the Asian Rim as lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ
